Reunited and it feels so good!

On Tuesday, ETonline was the first to report that Trina McGee will be guest starring in the second season of Girl Meets World, and now we have your exclusive first look at Angela (McGee) and Shawn’s (Rider Strong) highly anticipated reunion.

Prepare to swoon kids of the ’90s, because even when Angela and Shawn are standing across the room from each other, their chemistry is undeniable.

But wait, there’s more — we also have fans’ first look at the Hunter family back together again! Blake Clark, who played Chet Hunter, Shawn’s dearly departed father, will appear in the same Girl Meets World episode as McGee.

Nearly 15 years have passed since fans have seen Angela and Shawn together. (Who else is feeling incredibly old?) And even though we’ll have to wait a while before the upcoming reunion finally airs, executive producer Michael Jacobs promises that questions of their relationship will be answered in GMW‘s first season.

“We decided that we wanted to run Shawn through an evolution [in Girl Meet World‘s first season],” Jacobs explained to ETonline. “We’ll first see him in the reunion episode during the holidays and then we’ll see him in another episode later this season that actually sort resolves what happened between Shawn and Angela.”

In a recent Girl Meets World episode, Shawn was introduced Maya’s (Sabrina Carpenter) mom, and the blonde beauty, played by Cheryl Texiera, is his new potential love interest. In fact, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) was the mastermind who paired the two together, and she’s currently keeping her fingers crossed that Shawn will become Maya’s new dad. (No wonder she looks so upset at Angela’s return!)
